The Columbus Chamber of Commerce sponsors Columbus' Red Bud Days! Join us for our hometown celebration on Dickason Blvd. in front of City Hall!

Redbud Prince & Princess Contest

May 10th at 10 AM at the Columbus Community Center on Dickason Blvd

The annual Redbud Prince & Princess contest is one of the highlights of the Redbud celebration. The contest is an opportunity for the young people in the community to learn about public speaking & presentation. The event is open to boys & girls enrolled in kindergarten and 1st grade in the Columbus School District. 


This is an annual event that our community values and we welcome you and your family to participate in as well. 

2024 Redbud Prince & Princess

Congratulations to the 2024 Redbud Prince & Princess and Redbud Royalty!


The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce crowned the 2024 Redbud Prince and Princess at the annual Redbud Prince and Princess Contest in Columbus May 18. Bryce Bendall and Vivienne Bettilyon were crowned as prince and princess. Pictured l-r are Redbud Prince 2nd Runner Up Sutton Freidel, Redbud Prince 1st Runner Up Carson Herrick, Bendall, Bettilyon, and Redbud Princess 1st Runner Up Lilly Gorman.


The Redbud royalty will represent the city of Columbus during the Columbus Fourth of July Parade, Columbus Holiday Parade, and other community events throughout the year. The contest, sponsored by the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, is open to youth enrolled in kindergarten or first grade and live within the Columbus School District.
